Maximum Force ™

Maximum Force™ is a straightforward, no nonsense, rock band forged from the same alloys as Aerosmith, Van Halen, and Bon Jovi. Their quest began in Rockville, Maryland in 1988. Playing clubs in the Baltimore - Washington D.C. - Northern Virginia circuit, Maximum Force™ maintained a strong following. By the end of 1989, two full length demo tapes, Comin' At Ya! and Missing You had been recorded, and some major labels liked what they heard. To top it off, the song Can't Do Me Wrong finished third in the 8th Annual Mid-Atlantic States Song Contest.

A positive review by Kenny Kerner in the October 12, 1992 edition of Music Connection opened a few doors and the song Missing You appeared on Westar Records third compilation CD. Some radio airplay in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo helped fuel their popularity. 1993 saw the band back out playing clubs from San Luis Obispo to L.A. And after a stunning performance at the Roxy in May of 1993, L.A. attorney Jeffrey Graubart agreed to represent the band. This show featured five new songs released on the third demo titled Look Out Below. The song Blood & Thunder was released on Rodell Records ninth compilation CD and radio airplay again followed.

The Maximum Force™ was nominated the "Best Demo Tape of 1996" by Music Scene International Magazine. Some European Web Magazines have also provided some positive reviews: CATCHY HOOKS Webzine, STRUTTER MAGAZINE, and RENEGADE2K.

Led by guitarist/songwriter Teddy Ballgame, last summer Maximum Force™ headlined the Whisky in LA and opened for Great White at the Ventura Theatre. Currently, Ted and his band, Janice Mundee (Lead Vocalist), Randy the Drummer (Drums), Fritz the Bass player (Bass), are playing local clubs in Central California  (Hoovers 101, Atascadero), and making their 6th annual appearance at the California Mid State Fair (Paso Robles, CA); www.midstatefair.com/pages/3539/Albertsons/Pepsi_Headliner_Stage.htm.

To find out where they are playing, go to www.maximumforce.com. You can also order a compilation cd, Shields Up, for only $9.99 (plus shipping). And the band will donate $5.00 from every cd ordered to the Women’s Shelter of San Luis Obispo.

May the Maximum Force be with you!
